Medicare Adds To Public Moratorium Data

You now can get more data about providers and beneficiaries in moratoria areas. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Moratoria Provider Services and Utilization Data Tool, first released earlier this year, contains “information on the number of Medicare providers servicing a geographic region and the number of Medicare beneficiaries who use a health service area,” CMS says in a release. The tool provides more and different information than last quarter’s data release, including SNF and IDTF data.
