Mass. Agency Owner Arrested For Fraud

The owner of Worcester, Massachusettsbased Lifestream Healthcare Alliance has been arrested on Medicaid fraud charges Hellen Kiago bilked MassHealth of about $2.7 million through routinely overbilling and billing for services not authorized, according to Attorney General Maura Healey’s office. Among the alleged misdeeds were forging physician signatures on plans of care, padding aides’ time sheets, and falsifying records for an accreditation audit, reports the Worcester Business Journal.
