MAC To School Docs On Home Health Duties
If you’re trying to get your referring physicians to toe the line for face-to-face documentation and other requirements, an educational offering for them from a Part B MAC may help. A webinar covering physician duties for home health, “Home Health Referrals and Clinical Documentation Requirements,” is “a great way to assure you are aware of physician roles and Medicare’s coverage criteria,” says a notice from Medicare Administrative Contractor Noridian. “Topics will include an overview of coverage for home health services, billing opportunities, common documentation errors seen as well as resources,” according to the notice.
