MAC Investigates Reported Claims Payment Errors

Meanwhile, other claims glitches still go unexplained. HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor CGS is also experiencing an increase in calls related to reason codes 31157 and 31428, it says.
“CGS is currently researching claims that are receiving these reason codes,” the MAC reports.
“We will provide an update as soon as additional information becomes available.”
