LHC, Tenn. Health System Form Joint Venture

Lafayette, Louisiana-based LHC Group and Chattanooga, Tennessee-based Erlanger Health System have finalized a new joint venture. LHC is purchasing majority ownership of a home care facility in Chattanooga and assuming management responsibility, it says in a release. The facility will operate under the name Erlanger ContinuCare Home Health. LHC "partners with 75 health systems consisting of more than 250 hospitals across the United States," it adds.
