LHC-LifePoint To Make 3 Buys

LHC Group Inc. and LifePoint Health are continuing to expand their existing joint venture partnership, with three planned acquisitions. The JV will purchase a home health provider in Wilmington, Ohio, and two hospice providers in Sierra Vista, Arizona, and Lewiston, Idaho, the companies say in a release. The organizations will share ownership of CMH Home Health Care, Casa de la Paz Hospice, and St. Joseph Family Hospice. LHC and LifePoint began their JV in 2017 with 20 HHAs and 10 hospices (see Eli’s HCW, Vol. XXVI, No. 2). It’s now grown to 46 home health and hospice locations across eight states, the companies say in a release.
