Know Which Therapy Modifier To Report For Your NPWT Claims

If you’re confused about the new NPWT billing rules, a new educational tool from a HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor may help. Tip: When using revenue codes 042X or 043X on a 34X Type of Bill for Negative Pressure Wound Therapy, you must report either modifier GO — Services personally provided by an occupational therapist (043X) or GP — Services personally provided by a physical therapist (042X), CGS says.
