With quality data becoming more important than ever for home health agencies and hospices, brushing up on your quality reporting requirements is one New Year's resolution you should make - and keep. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services recently updated its Quick Reference Guides for both the Home Health Quality Reporting Program and the Hospice Quality Reporting Pro-gram. "These guides include frequently asked questions, information on QRP help desks, and ... links to additional resources for the QRPs," CMS says. For example: "HHCAHPS data must be reported for eligible patients on a monthly basis for four consecutive quarters," CMS says in response to a question about HHCAHPS reporting deadlines.
