ICD-10 Codes Taking Effect Oct. 1 Affect HH PPS Payments, Grouper Update Shows

Check out how the new ICD-10 diagnosis codes taking effect Oct. 1 will change your prospective payment system rates. CMS has issued the grouper software that will include the new codes; new manifestation/etiology code pairs; updates to existing codes for reasons such as laterality; and that will delete old codes.
