Four Indiana hospitals are joining forces to furnish home care. Margaret Mary Health in Batesville is the latest hospital to turn over its home health program to Suburban Home Health in Noblesville, Suburban notes in a release. The agency is already affiliated with Riverview Health in Noblesville, Witham Health Services in Lebanon, and Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. “Although Margaret Mary’s home health program has always had an excellent reputation for high-quality care, it has struggled financially due to the higher costs of operating as a hospital department,” said MMH CEO Tim Putnam, reports the Greensburg Daily News newspaper.“As an invested partner of Suburban, Margaret Mary can ensure our communities receive sustainable home health care while still providing the oversight and collaboration necessary for optimal patient outcomes.”
