Hospital-Based Agency Undergoes Change

A home health agency formerly owned by multiple hospitals in Ohio has changed its name.

HomeCare Matters in Galion originally was formed by the merger of Tri Hospital Home Health Care and Crawford County Hospice and was owned by Galion Hospital, Bucyrus Hospital, and Crestline Hospital. Over time, hospital ownership changed and HomeCare Matters became partly owned by both Avita Health System and OhioHealth, then solely Avita in 2017.
