Hospital-at-Home programs are getting a boost from the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill that averts a government shutdown (see related stories, p. 2 and p. 3). The new legislation will also require the Department of Health and Human Services to analyze hospital-at-home results compared to facility-based care and report on those findings.
