Hospice Compare Date Slides To Late Summer

You’re getting a smidge of breathing room on Hospice Compare, as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services moves its target implementation date for the quality data website to late summer. CMS previously had said Hospice Compare could launch as early as this spring (see Eli’s HCW, Vol. XXV, No. 29).
In a Jan. 18 training session on hospice quality, CMS revealed the later start date estimate, the National Association for Home Care & Hospice says in its newsletter.
