Hospice Company Expands To 3rd State With SC Buy

Knoxville, Tenn.-based Caris Health-care has purchased Solaris Hospice with eight locations in South Carolina, Caris says in a release. The South Carolina offices will join 16 Caris locations in Tennessee and one in Virginia. The sale should add $14.2 million to Caris' $67 million in annual revenue, the company says. The deal increases Caris' staff by nearly 40 percent, from 400 to 550 employees.
