You should no longer see claims held up in error with code U5112, HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor CGS says on its website.
The problem: Hospice claims receiving U5112 incorrectly were being suspended in status/location S MU511, CGS explains.
The solution: The problem was fixed Nov. 21, CGS reports. “Claims are no longer receiving reason code U5211 in error. If you see a claim, other than a NOTR (8XB), in RTP with reason code U5211 after November 21st, please contact the Provider Contact Center,” the MAC instructs.
