Expect Recovery Audit Contractor scrutiny to resume soon. The new RAC dedicated to home health, hospice, and durable medical equipment claims, Performant, is conducting outreach — but you may have to wait to hear directly from the contractor. Registration for the March 21 outreach training session scheduled for agencies served by CGS is already closed, as the session has reached capacity. But HHAs served by Palmetto GBA can still register for a March 23 webinar at www.palmettogba.com/event/pgbaevent.nsf/EventDetails.xsp?EventID=AJJRQL8328.
Performant conducted a webinar for National Government Services agencies Feb. 15, notes the National Association for Home Care & Hospice. No home health or hospice issues have yet been approved for RAC review, NAHC says.
