HHS Extends Health Emergency Periods In These Areas

Recovery from Hurricane Maria has prompted the Department of Health and Human Services to push out the deadline for the Public Health Emergency (PHE) in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The 1135 waiver deadline for the U.S. Virgin Islands is now March 14, 2018, and Puerto Rico's is March 15, 2018.
