HHAs' First IMPACT Act Measure On Pressure Ulcers May See Revisions

Not totally sold on the first IMPACT Act quality measure home health agencies must deal with? There’s good news. CMS and its contractors are convening a Technical Expert Panel to “refine” the cross-setting quality measure Percent of Residents or Patients with Pressure Ulcers that are New or Worsened (Short-Stay) (NQF #0678). CMS finalized the measure’s adoption for home health in the 2016 prospective payment system rule.

The nomination period for the TEP closed June 10.
