HHA PEPPERs Hit In July

Around July 18, PEPPER report contractor TMF Health Quality Institute will make available reports showing agencies their stats in these six “high-risk” areas: Average Case Mix; Number of Episodes; Episodes with 5 or 6 Visits; Non-LUPA Payments; High Therapy Utilization Episodes; and Outlier Payments. The reports will show you your Medicare billing practices compared with other HHAs in the nation, Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) jurisdiction and state.
TMF will hold a free training session on using the reports on July 28, it says. More information about the reports and call are available via links at www.pepperresources.org.
