HH Chain Launches Hospice Division
A home health holding company is branching out into hospice. AngMar Medical Holdings Inc. in Mansfield, Texas, has acquired a hospice company in Wichita, Kansas, for an undisclosed amount. The company will serve as AngMar’s first location in its new Angels Care Hospice brand, AngMar says in a release. AngMar, which operates in nine states, “is aggressively looking to expand its hospice product line in geographies where it already has a home health footprint, while simultaneously looking for new home health acquisition opportunities in new geographies,” the release says. “Currently, the company is in negotiations with a large hospice company with offices in Texas, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.”
