Health System Taps Chain To Manage Home Health Unit

The trend of health system-home care partnerships continues, this time in the form of a management contract.
Temple Health in Philadelphia has engaged Bayada Home Health Care to provide management services for its home care division, Jeanes Home Health. Bayada will take over responsibility for the operations, including all office and administrative functions, for the agency that will change its name to Temple Health at Home, Temple says in a release. Jeanes home care staff will become Bayada staff.
“Engaging Bayada gives Temple Health the opportunity to … offer services to the entire health system,” Temple says in the release. Bayada has 300 locations in 21 states, according to the release.
