Expect your Direct Data Entry screens to look different come July 1. That’s when a system update will go in that “includes changes to … FISS DDE screens,” HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor CGS notes in an article posted June 18 on its website. The changes regard the addition of “INIT” and “INIT DRG” fields that indicate an initial Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) code assigned, CGS explains.
