Home health agencies served by HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor CGS have good news about how they get bad news. CGS is now providing Targeted Probe & Educate notifications via its myCGS system, the MAC says in a March 1 post to its website. "When a provider is selected for the [TPE] process, CGS will notify the provider with the reason for selection," CGS explains. "At the conclusion of each round of review, CGS also notifies the provider with the results of the review. Now, both notification and results letters are available in myCGS." How it works: "myCGS Users and Administrators will now see these TPE letters delivered to the 'Messages' tab under your PTAN/NPI combination," CGS explains. "To ensure you receive the notification, Users and Administrators will also be sent an email to the registered email address informing them of deliveries to the myCGS inbox."
