Fate Of Rural Add-On May Be Decided By Congress In Coming Days

Keep an eye on Congress to see whether the rural add-on remains eliminated. "We believe it will still be included in the Medicare extenders package, but aren't certain when that will come up for a vote, or if that legislation will target and phase out the add-on," according to the National Association for Home Care & Hospice. The trade group is urging providers to contact their U.S. Senators about the issue.
