Don't Miss This PDGM Training From The MACs
Get more payment system details. As the clock counts down to PDGM’s implementation Jan. 1, your preparations should be ramping up. Now there are two new training sessions from Medicare to put on your to-do list. “Your Home Health Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs), CGS, National Government Services and Palmetto GBA will host a two part collaborative webcast to help your agency prepare to implement billing changes for the PDGM,” CGS says in a message to providers. The MACs will hold the first 60-minute session on Nov. 21, and the second 60-minute session on Dec. 5. Among the topics the webcasts will cover are PDGM vs. current PPS, 30-day periods, billing and claims processing, Requests for Anticipated Payment (RAPs), and reporting new occurrence codes.
