Are you ready for new OASIS sections in the New Year?

Now’s the time to get serious about OASISD education, with only a few short months before the major change takes effect.

You can get some free training from the horse’s mouth with a two-day training event on Nov. 6 and 7 in Baltimore.

Bonus: If you can’t swing in-person attendance, the “Train the Trainer” style session also will be available via webcast, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services says.

The Home Health Quality Reporting Program Provider Training will “provide those responsible for training home health agency staff with information about the HH QRP and associated changes between the OASIS-C2 and the OASIS-D, which will become effective January 1, 2019,” CMS notes. “Topics will include Section J: Health Conditions; Section GG: Functional Abilities and Goals; Pressure Ulcer/Injury Quality Measure (M1311); and the Drug Regimen Review Quality Measure.”
