The next refresh won’t be until October. Medicare has pushed off its next Home Health Compare refresh for three months. Effective Jan.1, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services began “processing all Home Health OASIS submissions and all reporting requirements through iQIES,” CMS says on its website. The transition to iQIES has been riddled with problems, with providers maintaining OASIS matching errors are still occurring. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, CMS has determined that there will not be a refresh for the [Home Health] Compare site in July 2020,” the agency says. That also means no Provider Preview Report for the July 2020 refresh in March. “The next scheduled refresh for the Compare site will be in October 2020,” with the April-published data remaining in place until then, CMS adds. Home health providers will receive their next Provider Preview Report in late June.
