Chain Buys 21 Locations From Addus

Chain LHC Group Inc. has purchased 19 home health agencies and two hospice agencies in five states from Palatine, Ill.-based Addus HomeCare Corp. But for 14 of the agencies, Addus is retaining 10 percent of the assets, LHC explains in a release.
LHC paid $20 million for the agencies that have annual revenue of $36.7 million. Now LHC operates more than 300 locations in 23 states, the Lafayette, La.-based company says.
