The Michigan Health Ministries of Ascension Health, a Catholic healthcare system with six hospitals, is integrating its home care operations into one statewide entity, it says . Reverence Home Health & Hospice, which will open Jan. 1, will include hospital-based agencies from Borgess Health, Genesys Health System, St. John Providence Health System, and St. Joseph Health System. "The primary focus of Reverence Home Health & Hospice will be to ensure seamless transitions of care and services between our Health Ministries' hospitals and home care settings," the health system says in a release. The new Reverence will have 590 employees in Michigan caring for 2,000 patients a day and $62 million in revenue, reports The Kalamazoo Gazette. It expects to have $80 million in annual revenue by 2017 and have more than 800 workers, according to new president Linda Young.
