Home health agencies may not have received much-hoped-for relief from Pre-Claim Review, which kicks off in Florida April 1. But they have gotten a break from some new bundling initiatives. In a notice released March 20, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services proposes bumping the deadlines for two bundling payment models, the Cardiac Rehabilitation Incentive Payment Model and Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement Model, to May 20 and Oct. 1. And CMS suggests moving the start dates to Jan. 1, depending on commenters’ feedback. CMS is continuing the delay under President Trump’s January order for a regulatory freeze pending review, CMS says in the notice. The agency already bumped Feb. 18 deadlines under the bundling rule to March 21. Comments on this notice are due April 19.
