Calif.-Based Regional Chain Makes Oregon Buy

A subsidiary of The Ensign Group Inc. has entered the Oregon market with its acquisition of Connected Home Health in Portland, Ore. Con-nected will be operated by a subsidiary of Corner-stone Healthcare Inc., Ensign's home health and hospice portfolio subsidiary, Ensign says in a release. Connected was formerly known as Portland Home Health. Mission Viejo, Calif.-based post-acute parent Ensign has home health and hospice operations in Idaho (Horizon Home Health and Hospice), Dallas (Custom Care Hospice), Salt Lake City (Symbii Home Health and Hospice), Denver (Homecare Solutions), and Iowa (Careage Home Care).
