Bypass The Wait With A Clerical Error Reopening

Looking for a quick resolution to a clerical error claim problem? Your MAC can help. “What do you do when you’ve found out you have a clerical error on your claims? Submit the Clerical Error Reopening Adjustment Request Form,” HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor CGS urges in a message to providers. “Fill out the form and submit the supporting documentation and the situation will be handled for you without making one call,” CGS emphasizes. “This form can be faxed or mailed in,” the MAC adds. The form is at www.cgsmedicare.com/parta/forms/pdf/clerical_error_reopening.pdf.
