5-Location Chain Expands Hospice Service Area

Lutheran Home Care and Hospice has expanded its hospice program to York County, Penn., reports The Gettysburg Times. The Cham-bersburg-based agency with five locations previously furnished only home care throughout the county."Through a market study of the York area, we have identified that when compared to state and national averages, a relatively small percentage of the folks who receive hospice services in York County are still living in their own home," Luth-eran executive director Terry Shade told the newspaper.
