Two owners of an Ohio home care agency have been found guilty of Medicaid fraud after a seven-day trial, the Ohio Attorney General says in a release. Prudent Healthcare Services Director of Clinical Services Ethel Freeman-Nnonah falsified and forged medical assessments and patient plans of care and ordered employees to do the same, resulting in more than $101,000 in improper payments to the company from Ohio Medicaid, the jury found. Nnonah and Administrator Tinisee Harris also tampered with patient files that they had been ordered to produce to the AG’s Office, according to the release. The pair face sentencing in April.
