Pay Attention To These 2 New Measures Displayed On Home Health Compare

Don’t forget that Home Health Com-pare now is displaying two new quality measures for home health agencies: Rehospitalization During the First 30 Days of Home Health (NQF #2380) and Emergency Department Use without Hospital Read-mission During the First 30 Days of Home Health (NQF #2505).
“These measures were added to the CAS-PER reports in January 2014 and were originally scheduled to be published in 2014, but were defer-red to coincide with other updates to HHC taking place in July 2015,” CMS says in a recent message to providers.
