Michigan Hospital To Close Failing Agency

Add another hospital-based home health agency to the closure list. Sturgis Hospital in Sturgis, Michigan, plans to close its agency by Dec. 31, according to news reports. “We continue to close non-profitable departments and are having to look at every facet of our operation for savings to help weather this decrease in activity and decreasing payments,” said Rob LaBarge, president and CEO, according to the Sturgis Journal.
