Contact Your MAC With This Info If OASIS Matching Denials Continue To Bedevil Your Correct Files

Medicare has resolved nearly all the problems listed on its iQIES known issues list at https://iqies.ventera.com/, but if you continue to have trouble, you’re not alone.

“Some providers are still experiencing problems with their claims not processing due to non-matching OASIS — reason code 37253,” says the National Association for Home Care & Hospice.

A new MLN Matters article issued March 9 tells you what do if your OASIS matching problems persist despite making sure everything is correct.Contact your MAC with the claim document control number (DCN); the validation report’s Page 1 showing the Completion Date/Time; and the validation report’s page for the OASIS assessment in question, showing the RFA, Medicare Number, and M0090 date, says the article at www.cms.gov/files/document/se20010.pdf.
