Will Congress listen to the influential advisory body this time?

The winter air isn’t all that’s chilly for hospices this month.

The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission will urge Congress to freeze hospice rates in 2025, MedPAC Commissioners decided in the advisory body’s Dec. 8 meeting.

Commissioners will make a final vote on its recommendations in January, and they will then appear in its annual March report to Congress.
