Doc Pay Fix Leaves Home Care Unscathed -- For Now

Industry observers are cautiously optimistic about the so-called "doc fix" that congressional leaders are working on. The Senate has passed a one-year delay to steep physician pay cuts, and the bill would reportedly take its funding from health care reform law provisions, not other Medicare providers' reimbursement. However: Funding is subject to change until the ink dries on the law, observers warn. Now the House must take up the bill.
