Use This Sample Letter To Reject Bundling Invoices

Prepare the following letter for cases in which you receive invoices after the fact for bundled items or services: Then you can include pp. 41-43 of the manual at www.cms.hhs.gov/manuals/downloads/clm104c10.pdf with the Web address at the top of the page. You may want to underline the pertinent portions of the paragraphs addressing the "under arrangement" definition or the instructions for other providers to determine whether the patient has a home health episode open before providing services. Resource: For a free pdf copy of the manual, e-mail Rebecca Johnson at rebeccaj@eliresearch.com with "Manual Bundling Provisions" in the subject line.
