• Don't forget to celebrate National Home Care and Hospice Month with your staff, referral sources, patients, and other stakeholders. "Guaranteeing health care freedom" is the theme for National Home Care Month, notes the National Association for Home Care & Hospice. "Home care gives people the freedom and independence they so cherish," NAHC notes. The theme this year for National Hospice Month is "Loving care at home when it's needed most," and Home Care Aide Week, Nov. 14-20, has a theme of "Loving hands and compassionate hearts," NAHC adds.
