CMS updated the look of its Promoting Interoperability (PI) programs’ and Quality Measurement & Value-Based Incentives Group (QMVIG) listservs this week. But, according to the agency, only the designs and names have changed. Details: In April 2018, CMS changed the name of the Medicare EHR Incentive Programs to PI, as outlined in the FY 2019 Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) and Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTCH) proposed rule. If you’re a “current subscriber of this listserv, no action is needed to continue receiving these messages,” noted the agency. The same goes for Medicare’s eHealth listserv. The FY 2019 Medicare Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) for Acute Care Hospitals and Long-term Care Hospital (LTCH) Prospective Payment System final rule out last August renamed eHealth to CMS QMVIG. The listserv is now aligned with the new name, and updates will continue to go out to subscribers.
