AHIMA-Backed Tool Helps Patients Find Medical Data
If your patients want to quickly and easily review their medical records online, a handy new gadget can help. The HIPAA-friendly tool called the “Health Record Request Wizard” utilizes updated technologies based on previous American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) models, said a Journal of AHIMA release. The Wizard is an “innovative tool that can be used by health information management professionals to change workflow processing for consumer-generated information requests,” indicates Pamela L.
