Question: Which CPT code should I report with the Agilent capsule endoscopy? This is a capsule that our gastroenterology uses to see if a patient is eligible for a pill camera endoscopy.Colorado SubscriberAnswer: You won't find any code for this, so you have to use 44799 (Unlisted procedure, intestine). Not all insurances are covering this, but you might get lucky and someone will pay for it. Be sure to use the signs and/or symptoms to support your small bowel capsule claim.
