Where to Look for LCDs for ICD-10

Question: Where can we find the Medicare LCDs for ICD-10?

Answer: Medicare contractors have already begun to publish ICD-10 LCDs (Local Coverage Determinations) to individual Medicare contractor websites. However, these LCDs are posted as “Future” LCDs and will be implemented after October 1 only. To obtain your own LCD, refer to your local Medicare carrier online or the primary CMS website.
As a reminder, you will find chiropractic LCDs posted in the MAC-Part B category of the CMS website. For those practices that submit claims to Palmetto GBA or WPS Medicare, do continue checking the websites for those LCDs to be posted.
