Medicare Reform 2004: Look for Cardio Impact

Instead of the 4.5 percent cut you've been bracing for, your cardiology practice could benefit from the 1.5 percent increase next year and in 2005, if the Medicare reform plan passes Congress. 
 
Take note of two key points in the plan: You could see coverage for your screening EKGs and physical exams for new Medicare beneficiaries and cardiovascular screening blood tests.
