Instead, report a fibrin patch with HCPCS code C9250 (Human plasma fibrin sealant, vapor-heated, solvent-detergent (Artiss), 2ml). Artiss is a two-component fibrin sealant made of human fibrinogen and human thrombin. A fibrin sealant is fibrin glue that a provider uses to control bleeding and promote wound healing in a variety of surgical situations.
